I think your plan is as good as it could get smiffo.
That would end up being the shortest diversion .

I've got some more pics of the dizzy. Was it an "a" I need at the end.?

I think it's

0237 023 007
071 905 205

No letters.
Found similar online, single vacuum. Image

The dizzy required will be part number 025 905 205 Q or C suffix.

Pierburg 2e3 part number would be 025 129 015 A, H, or J suffix

Inlet manifold part number 025 129 713A

Hi smiffo, thanks for those,

How relevant are the first 3 digits? Do we know what they signify?

I believe the 025 of the part code is specific to our vans.
( I think that's why we call them T25 instead of T3? )

Some of the old timers can correct me if wrong.

Hi smiffo, I've found one with that part number, h suffix.

BuT
Market as pierburg 2e
Not

Is that significant?

I can only assume that mine is an early df cooling system , as I don't have that pipe off the solid coolant manifold. And it looks like it runs to the carb. But I dont believe My carb has a coolant supply or return ....

But it looks like I could have saved myself money on the air filter box!

What carb are you running.

My mate has a twin weber with the black plastic pancake attached. But we've yet to identify it , can't find part no. On it.

If anyone knows the weber part number that fits the black pancake plenum , I'll keep my eye out for one of them too!

Also, what is that smaller hose coming off the pancake?

Where does it go, what does it do? 🤔
