LHD drive is really easy to get used, I'd try one before you dismiss it out of hand. Westfalias are the best conversions by a long way - top quality factory production. The German vans also tend to be better looked after, though not always. Californias and Atlantics have a lot of high tech refinemen...

just had this me self shep. Fortunately it turned out to be the switch - £6 as opposed to the cost of a new fan and 4 hours labour to remove and re-fit it. ...... Lets hope its the switch for you too :wink:

Fittted MLs - but with 215/ 60 /16 tyres. 225/75/16 is too big really and will throw your speedo / gearing out. 12mm spacers needed all round. Longer bolts and or studs also required. Can be purchased from http://www.brickwerks.co.uk I made some nice centre caps for mine too! Pic of my van with MLs ...
